KTO Karatay University places great importance on ensuring that all spaces on our campus are accessible to everyone. Removing physical barriers and creating user-friendly spaces for individuals with disabilities form the cornerstone of our university’s spatial accessibility policy.

Across the campus, all areas, including classrooms, laboratories, the library, social spaces, and sports facilities, have been arranged to meet the needs of our students and staff with disabilities. Physical accessibility features such as ramps, elevators, wide doors, and designated parking spaces ensure that every individual can easily access all areas within the campus.

Additionally, arrangements have been made to facilitate access to information and services for visually and hearing-impaired individuals. Solutions such as directional signs, areas marked with Braille, and sound systems compatible with hearing devices are implemented to enhance the campus experience for all our stakeholders.

As KTO Karatay University, we are continuously improving our efforts to increase spatial accessibility and are determined to make our campus accessible to everyone. In this regard, our entire campus was awarded the Accessibility Orange Flag as part of the 2023 YÖK Engelsiz Üniversite Awards, and in the 2024 YÖK Engelsiz Üniversite Awards, our Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Economics,Administrative and Social Sciences, School of Foreign Languages, and Vocational School of Health Services were also honored with the Accessibility Orange Flag. Our goal is to create an inclusive campus environment where all individuals can study and work under equal conditions.
